120 cm Strelitzia nicolai (Bird of Paradise Plant)

The Bird of Paradise Plant is a real showpiece, with sturdy, thick leaves that reach high above the plant structure. 

The Bird of Paradise plant is known for it's incredible flowers, which - as the name suggest - look like bright orange birds. 

These like a well lit position, ideally in a sunny window, or somewhere that gets a good amount of light throughout the day. 

The Bird of Paradise plant is fairly tolerant of dryer conditions, and ensure that the soil dries out complete in between watering.

These gorgeous plants typically reach sizes of around 2m tall.
